Micquel Little is the Director of User Services and Resource Sharing at the Claremont Colleges Library in Southern California. After earning her BA and MLIS degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, Micquel became involved in resource sharing and the IDS Project in 2010. She also became involved in ALA’s RUSA STARS section as Chair of the Outreach and Promotion Committee in 2011, and was recently voted its Vice Chair for FY17. After earning her MBA from St. John Fisher College in 2014, Micquel’s interests have grown into organization-wide discussions regarding resource sharing’s leading role in the future of academic libraries. She collaboratively founded and continues to coordinate the IDS Project’s Online Learning Institute, which strives to combine partnerships from across the country to provide community-based resource sharing trainings in an online environment. Micquel received the Rethinking Resource Sharing Innovation Award at ALA in June 2016. She loves collaborating with her colleagues and talking about how awesome resource sharing truly is to anyone who will listen.
