Enhancing the Information Trading Post: Exchanging WorldShare Interlibrary Loan for Tipasa
In summer 2018, Salem Academy & College, a small, private, liberal arts college for women, enhanced resource sharing services by exchanging WorldShare Interlibrary Loan for Tipasa. In this session, Anna Dulin Milholland, Discovery & Delivery Librarian, will detail Salem College Libraries’ – a WorldShare Management Services (WMS) library – decision to migrate to Tipasa, the migration timeline, and the opportunities and challenges experienced, including: Initiating WorldShare Interlibrary Loan/Circulation integration, restructuring resource sharing operations, maximizing efficiency with minimal staff, improving customer service, troubleshooting notification workflows, upgrading NSC’s STAR ranking, and assessing user experience.
